From the ‘burbs to country livin’…

So why the dream? Where did it come from?  Well glad you asked. We met in a the suburbs, lived in the suburbs, and had our children in the suburbs.   We were comfortable in our home living in row houses with a small but manageable back yard.  Matt had made our back yard a sweet sanctuary of plants, and fire pit and solar lights.

We were comfortable.  I’ve likened our desire to move to the country versus staying (sorry men, this is more relatable to moms.. but it’s what I know!)  breastfeeding vs formula feeding or childbirth with/without an epidural.   Both options are real, both options are true, and your family is like going to turn out just fine, no matter the route your family goes.  But sometimes you just feed very convicted to go a certain direction, and the hard work to get there and endure it, is if you are REALLY convicted.

And that is life our in this rugged reality as we chose it.  As of yet, this play is a major pain in the patoot.  There is extra work to do EVERYTHING.  Things just don’t work the way they should and we are tired.  But we would absolutely do it again.

We both believe in this dream. And we are lucky to have found two crazies that want this similar dream.
